Rebecca Ngele -
The Founder

I am a young professional with a passion for sharing knowledge, education, and the development of human potential.

With a degree in Human Resources, I began my career in personnel administration. However, beyond my professional background, I have always been driven by another passion: teaching and supporting others in their learning.

When I arrived in Canada, this passion became a genuine career path. Today, I teach French at a Montessori school, where I support students of different levels using an active, caring teaching approach centred on each child’s needs. I have also supported adults in their French language learning, particularly those preparing for the TEF or TCF Canada exams.

Through these experiences, with both children and adults, I came to realise one thing: many learners take French lessons for years without ever gaining the confidence needed to actually use the language in everyday life.

But Bain des Mots was also born from a much more personal story: my own.
For most of my life, I struggled to learn English. No matter how many classes I attended, the learning always felt too theoretical and disconnected from real life. I reached a point where I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: I left my country, my job, and my family in Belgium to move to Canada and immerse myself completely in an English-speaking environment. That experience changed everything.

In less than two years, simply by living, working, and communicating in English every day, I went from having virtually no English skills to reaching a B1 level. It made me realise that true language learning happens when the language becomes part of your daily life, not just something you study in a classroom.

This personal journey, combined with my teaching experience, inspired me to create Bain des Mots: a space where learning happens differently. A space where French is experienced through hands-on activities, games, projects, conversations, cultural experiences, and real-life immersion that give meaning to every new word learned. At Bain des Mots, my wish is for everyone to learn at their own pace, within a nurturing, stimulating, and motivating environment.

Because I firmly believe that learning a language is not just about memorising vocabulary or grammar rules. It is about gaining the confidence to communicate, connect with others, and embrace new opportunities.

Welcome to Bain des Mots. I look forward to accompanying you on this wonderful linguistic adventure.
